The Carrier AquaSnap 61AQ is a high-performance air-source scroll heat pump designed for commercial heating and cooling applications, particularly in new build and refurbishment projects. Utilizing the natural refrigerant R-290, this unit offers a sustainable solution with minimal environmental impact. The system features a full-inverter scroll compressor and EC variable-speed fans, delivering superior seasonal efficiency and the ability to reach leaving water temperatures of up to 75°C. Its modular design supports up to 4 units in sequence for a total capacity of 500kW, ensuring flexibility for various building requirements. Designed with the installer in mind, the 61AQ is compact and can be configured with integrated hydraulic modules, variable-speed pumps, and advanced control features. The unit includes the SmartVu™ 7-inch user interface for easy management and is fully compatible with building management systems via ModBus or Bacnet. It is optimized for quiet operation, especially in part-load conditions, and offers robust features like domestic hot water management, Legionella prevention, and boiler replacement support.
