The Trane City™ RTSF is a high-performance water-to-water heat pump engineered for versatility, sustainability, and reliability. Designed with a compact, modular footprint featuring a 920 mm width, this unit is perfectly suited for installations in space-restricted environments where conventional large-scale units might struggle to fit. It utilizes advanced screw compressor technology paired with an Adaptive Frequency™ Drive (AFD) as standard, ensuring exceptional load matching, durability, and a 99.5% reliability rate. Optimized for low global warming potential, the system primarily uses HFO R1234ze (GWP < 1) with R515B available as an alternative, aligning with modern environmental standards. The City RTSF series offers a wide operational range, capable of heating water up to 80°C and supporting source temperatures between -12°C and +30°C. With cooling capacities ranging from 180 to 385 kW and heating capacities from 195 to 430 kW, it serves a diverse spectrum of applications. Users can choose between specialized configurations: City Comfort for performance in moderate applications, City Process for demanding industrial brine operations, and City Booster to facilitate the transition to renewable energy heating. Each unit is designed for simplified installation and consistent, high-efficiency output.
