The Trane XStream™ RTWF XSE is a high-performance water-cooled chiller designed for demanding applications requiring precision temperature control and outstanding energy efficiency. With a cooling capacity ranging from 410 to 1320 kW, it utilizes advanced screw compressor technology paired with a Variable Volume Index (Variable Vi) to achieve industry-leading part-load efficiency, including SEER values as high as 9.0. The unit is engineered for long-term reliability, featuring a direct-drive, semi-hermetic compressor with only three moving parts, ensuring simplified maintenance and sustained operational excellence. Control and flexibility are central to the XStream series, which integrates the Trane Tracer® Symbio™ 800 microprocessor system. This controller uses patented algorithms for superior load matching and system stability. Additionally, the unit supports Variable Primary Flow (VPF) and series counterflow configurations, allowing for significant energy and installation cost savings. Its design minimizes refrigerant charge through the use of a CHIL falling film evaporator, making it a robust, efficient solution for mission-critical cooling needs.
